Pumpkin Patch

On friday we went to the pumpkin patch with our church. We had so much fun. We went down the cottonseed hill on plastic discs. We went on a hay ride. The kids ran around and played. They got to pick out pumpkins. I love this time of year!!!

Slow Week

This week was slow, which was a good thing since we had the stomach flu. I am very excited that is it October which means fall then winter. The kids are excited for Christmas. They have already told Eric where they want the tree. I've been doing as much crafts as I can with my babies. I love to make things.

The Past Few Weeks!!!

The past few weeks have been quite busy for our family. We went to the bay one sat and then the next sat and sun we went to Coronado. We had friends who were camping. I was able to ride and drive a wave runner and we rode on Uncle David's boat. All of which were so much fun. The kids loved playing in the sand and water. They were filthy!!!

Then Eric went back to work and we are doing well. Hannahbelle and I went on the woman's retreat. She was so good and I had so much fun. I love spending time with the women from my church. I did miss my 3 babies and hubby at home though.

We had an awesome summer. Hannahbelle was born! Eric had 7 weeks off on paternity leave. Elias started walking. We went to the bay a few times and the zoo.

Now the kids are in Cubbies which is like starting school for us. The kids are homeschooled so Cubbies keeps us on track for what would be a regular school year.

The Start of Our Family

Of course our story starts just as any ole couple...well maybe not!

We met shortly after I graduated from high school. We were friends for a while hanging out with the college group at Horizon. Eric had left the church he grew up in and started attending Horizon. Horizon is where I rededicated my life to Jesus. I believe that God brought Eric to Horizon just to meet his wife. Me of course!!!

As I sat one evening contemplating what I wanted in my spouse, I wrote a list. Yes that's right a list of all the criteria my man had to meet to marry me. Well you guessed it Eric fit the list. What is funny is that 2 years before we became an item of the week, a friend had pointed out that he knew who i was going to marry . He said I know the perfect person for you in a couple of years. I thought " I'm not waiting a couple of years!!!" Well my friends it was a couple of years later. Anyway...Our story is very long with great details that one day I will be able to write about but for now the short version.

We started courting on 6/16/2001, engaged 7/16/2002, married 8/16/2003. Since then we have given birth to 4 beautiful children.
We live in SD and are surrounded by almost all of our family.


We have great friends and we attend the best church in the whole world.
